Exercise Physiology

EPs are allied health professionals with a university degree who are qualified to create, deliver, and assess safe and efficient exercise interventions for patients with acute, subacute, or chronic illnesses, injuries, or impairments. Cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cancerous, kidney, respiratory / pulmonary, and mental health conditions are among the pathology domains that are covered by the services of EPs, as well as any other conditions for which there is evidence that exercise can improve the client’s clinical status.

For the purpose of facilitating and optimising health status, function, recovery, and independence, exercise physiologists modify movement, physical activity, and exercise-based therapies. People can participate in activities at home, at school, at work, and in the community with this support.
